Kenham Building Ltd

Health & Safety Compliance Partnership, working with Goddard Consulting LLP, carried out an extensive desktop study of existing H&S Files and Operation and Maintenance Manuals in order to identify if any materials used in the construction of the St Pancras building would have the potential to contain asbestos.

HSP carried out an extensive physical investigation of the exposed structure and finishes on all levels of the main building to establish if any asbestos containing materials were present, involving discreet attendance in public areas including reading rooms. Findings from the survey were collated in an asbestos management survey report which is used as a reference document in the Library’s asbestos management plan.

The asbestos survey was carried out in a professional way and HSP’s staff were always very cooperative and understanding, which was of great benefit to the Library when they needed to access the high profile areas of the building.

HSCP provide Health & Safety Site audits for our Licensed Asbestos Removal Projects, we find HSCP partnership approach refreshing and professional as they ensure our sites are compliant with current Legislation, HSCP assist with training needs analysis for our staff from Office to site during their desk top audits of our plan of works and also during the site audits, we appreciate all HSCP do for us
